A small Ford dealership in Massachusetts decided to outright use artwork without permission from an indie game called Firewatch in an email campaign. The studio, Panic Inc, was alerted to it by a fan who forwarded the email to them.
However, they ended up taking it in good spirits, even joking about using Ford's cars and branding in their own emails.

This seemed to prompt a few other developers and studios to join in on the fun.
I guess the dealership wasn't planning on this catching wind and fanning a flame of shame.
